This notice covers the Meowstronauts app for Android and iPhone and this website. Meowstronauts has no accounts and does not run its own servers. It is not directed at children under 13.
Your game stays on your device
The game saves your settings, chosen player, scores and level progress on your device only. Uninstalling the app (or clearing this site's data in your browser) removes them.
Purchases
The optional one-time purchase is handled entirely by Google Play or the App Store. We never see your payment details. The app checks with the store whether you own the purchase so it can unlock the full game and remove ads.
Ads
The free version shows occasional full-screen ads between games, served by Google AdMob. Where required (for example in the EEA and UK) the app asks for your consent first, and you can change your choice from the Scores screen. On iPhone, the app asks permission before using the advertising identifier for tracking; ads still appear if you decline, but are less personalized. Google's use of data is described in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services. Buying the full game turns ads off.
